Activision to pay more than $50 million to settle lawsuit fueling Blizzard takeover of Microsoft – Business

Activision Blizzard has agreed to pay more than $50 million to settle a high-profile lawsuit by a California regulator that helped spur Microsoftof October takeover of videogame companies.

The state Department of Civil Rights sued Activision in mid-2021, alleging that its leadership ignored numerous employee complaints of sexual harassment, discrimination and pay discrimination.
